4:00pm: It has only been a year or two
Hello everyone, it has been much time since my last actual Journal entry. I feel I need somewhat of a silent out, so here we go.

Currently I am at home living with my mother and step father, life isn't great however it isn't bad either. My lifestyle revolves more around school and work, maybe getting together with some friends on the weekend. Growing up kind of sucks.

I am currently building a computer for a couple of friends, it is most definitely a kick ass machine, 2 512mb video cards, 2 gig of ram, 4200 AMD processor.. However, after much trouble shooting I have discovered the motherboard is dead. So I have to take it all apart again, ship the board back, wait to get reimbursed and order it again. That is the price you pay when you order online, sure you get the state of the art equipment, but if it doesnt work. It seems like hell when you have to go through the processes of shipping the damn thing back.

By the way, I hate livejournals new look, it took me a few to find a way to create a new journal.

1:38pm: So i'm in love, truely in love... Brandi is the greatest girl in the world..I don't know what happend to me within those 2 or 3 months we werent together, but something did. I realize what I want in my life. It's not what I drive, what I type on, where I'm at, or anything, its about who makes you happy. She does make me happy. Infact I was about ready to pick up everything in a year, leave my job at the college and go to Pittsburgh. However she is moving back, she is going to give her Vet job up for me, so Brandi and I will be able to take over by dads Mini-storages and I can keep my job at Zane State. I can't wait for a year to come when she comes back here and I graduate..

I really wish I could go to Blizcon in Cali :(

3:28pm: Last week me and 7 other people went down to Kentucky to visit lake Cumberland for 4 days. I had a hell of a time, the water was crystal clear and buitiful. Not only was it gorgeous but the company was great too. 4 out of the 8 people that went I didn't know. I found out fast even though we were extemely different that didn't mean we couldent get along. I made alot of great friends on the trip. We drank over 360 cans of beer, a gallon of Capt'Morgan, a 5th of crown Royal, and a few girl drinks. There are so many things to tell about the trip that my LJ would just be way toooooo long so I won't go into detail. Lets just say when I returned I whole body was burnt and I was in horrible pain, but I would have done it for another week after that. It was great.

I'm at work right now, I just got my new Dell laptop, its pretty nice it sure beats the hell out of my old laptop thats for sure.

11:09pm: Being Fathers Day and all, My sis's and I took my dad out to eat some Chinese food, I got him a card and a shirt.. My dad tends to have everything he could possibly want.. well at my budget anyway.

My birthday is coming up on Wednesday, doesn't feel like of a birthday. I'm going to be 22, I really don't have anything to luck forward to until my golden buckeye years, where you can get free coffee and like $00.20 off of a hamburg or something...

This weekend I’m going to Kentucky with a group of friends, we are going to Lake Chillicothe ( however you spell it ) to rent a house boat. I'm sure I will get my drink on and celebrate my birthday then, since its on a Wednesday and all.

This weekend I helped move Ryan and Julia in their new place up in C-bus, its in Pickerton and is very nice.. The only thing that could really make the place better is if it wasn’t 3 flights of stairs.. But the move was good.

So yesterday I bout the video game Area 51, I got to tell you I was impressed. The graphics are good and the AI is amazing, They moved and thought things out just like you would in real life. $30.00 well spent.

4:14am: clean clean clean
So tonight I decided to clean out my room, for hopes of moving out sometime in the near future. Now if you don’t know me I’m a bit of a pack rat. Being a computer geek will do that, its hard to tell when someone will bring you this 10 year old machine that’s running Windows 95 and say “ I need a new modem “ . So I keep it all. I had 4 touts stacked on the left wall of my room. Going through it all I found such cool things as the original Nintendo’s “ Zap It “ ( the gun for duck hunt ) instructions to Magic cards and various computer parts. It was like looking into the passed, it was amazing how much of my life were in those plastic boxes. As I am rummaging through, I find a box with all these love letters from various girl friends. I found one from Alena from 02 saying how happy she was to be with me and blah blah blah, a lot of poems from Brandi and a few others.. It made me start to think, these girls would have done anything for me at the time, how do things change so fast? Is it something that I do to make things like this happen, or do they just happen? I’m terribly upset to be single at the moment, but I do hate that feeling of not being able to communicate to the other person that you had cared about for a period of time.

Ahhhh, but how can you beat the memories eh? Good times

8 of our MISS people at Zane State College are going to the Defcon convention, “the largest hacking convention in the world” The focus is security. ( www.defcon.org ). Flight, hotels, and food is paid by the college... All I need is money to put in those cool slot machines :)
It will be a time I’m sure I will never forget.

I have been waiting for a test like this! Not only was this Midterm open book's... it was in groups... AND

One page of answers was A,B,A,C,B,B.... for all you non gamers out there.. this was the blood code for the first Mortal Combat... ever since like 4th grade I always thought it would be cool to find this on a test...

If I ever become a teacher, all my tests will be old Nintendo codes :)

Man where to start? Wednesday 7 of the Zane State MISS department went to the OHECC conference at Shawnee State University. The point of this conference is to gather all kinds of IT minds and share ideas and solutions. Now I know what your thinking. O shit a group of geeks united in one place, hide your pocket protectors and calculators! .. Now I cant deny I don’t think there was one person without a PDA or a laptop for the wireless connection.

Day 1, Wednesday – Worked until 4 in the evening and started on the trip.. The seven of us stopped off at Hooters in C-bus, our boss paid for everyone, which consisted of all you can eat wings, all you can drink beer, and many hooters…. ..

Day 2, Thursday – After a long night of partying and drinking we got up early and headed to the University.. This college had it going on, it was just gorgeous.. The design of the buildings were just amazing. Everything looked modern and snazzy,
First up we hit up the vendor area.. Cisco, Gateway, HP, IBM, CDR-G, and many others were there telling about their new products and giving away free stuff… We of course stocked up with everything we could get our hands on. Not to mention after every conference they would give everyone something else as we walked out.

That night they had a band, a open bar and a very thirsty Lar… I cleaned out that bar of Captain Morgan within a few hours. I think our college was really the only ones that were enjoying them selves.. Other colleges just seemed to be sitting around doing nothing. We eventually drug the rest of them up to join us on the dance floor.
And I think the best thing I’ve seen was HP, Gateway, IBM representatives all chilling with us and drinking..

Day 3, Friday – With feeling like shit we drug our ass’s out of bed and went to the convention for one final time. I think the best gift they gave us was the one they gave us when we walked out. They gave EVERYONE a 25 dollar gift card to BP. WOO!
I came home that night and crashed. 

Saturday, - I went to WV to meet up with lil Rach, the drive went really fast. I got to meet all her super cool friends. Rachel and Tom took me to a graveyard ( I have a fetish for old grave stones ) and showed me a awesome stone, on the front it had a picture of the little boy the passed and on the back of it, it had a picture of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker battling with their light sabers. For sure the coolest stone I have ever seen. Rachel was kind enough to buy me a 5th of Captain Morgan, which disappeared very fast I might add. We played quarters and sorta played ring of fire… That is I couldn’t remember all the rules so I had to call Khris to confirm them. The next day Rach and I ate some Chinese and I headed home. I had a blast


A very full filled week/weekend, full of good times.

12:28am: Computer update
Everything is ready, all im missing is another gig of Dual Channel memory... Daos ( my pc ) is ready to kick some ass....It will have WindowsXP (hopefully 64bit if I can find a hacked verson) and Linux (Knoppix)

and since ive built 2 computers within a year im deciding I should pay some attention to my truck now and start fixing it up a bit. It's always good to have side projects

3:28pm: DIE one clicker!!
The anger in my eyes grew; I had taken all of its dignity that it had. As I raped it of what it was worth and took everything I could help my self to. I could smell the stench of fear as it just fed my anger towards everything it stood for. The handle of the sledge hammer splintered into my hands as I gripped it with everything I had. I lunged the giant hammer behind me for a swift and powerful blow then swung it with a direct hit. The aluminum case shattered, circuits broke into tiny peaces, and its end had come. Its days of computing will be no more, no more word processing, no more editing graphics... nothing. The Mac had lived passed its time, it deserved no better. What once was its hard drive now is scattered among pavement and the body of the Mac now rots in a garbage can waiting to be picked up. Oh sweet revenge

9:48pm: a geeky post
Sitting lonely in a dark warehouse waiting to be used are the components to my computer. Almost everything is ordered except for the Video card. I decided against Duel processors being that the cheaper mothrboards were shitty and the good ones were about 500$ ( eeek ) I coulden't aford that, and I don't want a shit computer. Specs- 3200 AMD 64, 2 gig of RAM, 600 wat LED power supply, Viper case, a kickin motherboard with 2000 FSB, and PCI express video

I am a happy man
now if I can just get a better internet connection, but i'll be set for any LAN partys

12:02am: So yesterday I spent with Brandi, we enjoyed fine Mexican food, watched Saw and had good times. However after I took her back I engaged my brain into forking out a 5-7 paper on critiquing another website and pulling a 10 page website out of my ass. So from 6:00 PM-3:00AM I was cramming bullshit into home work.

And just because this a bitchy journal I’m going to throw up a few pics that I finally got from the Halloween party I went to.

2:41am: So I stopped smoking, its for good now I think... its been over a week and I haven't had one camel. However Ive taken up the habit of pouch rubbing, not too much better, but I think it will be easier to stop ounce I get the smoking habit broke.

It has been over a year since ive played in a Magic tournament until tonight.. So much has changed in the game that I haven't been apart of. A lot of the players I played against had invested a shit load of $$ into their decks.. While I play a deck that is horribly outdated... somehow I one the tourniment. I know its only a card game, but winning in that just brightens the day. I had alot of fun.

So school is going rather well.. I don't think i'll be getting a 4.0 this quarter but im thinkin a high 3 is for sure. Im writing a website for a class when im done i'll post a link for it up here so you guys can give me some feedback on it

5:59pm: Get away and enjoy
This weekend I enjoyed the company of my friend Khris. We drank lots of achole, worked on his 383 engine for his newly owned 71 Charger, we played Need for speed 2 and ate alot of hotwings and mushrooms. I needed this badly, getting stuck in a rut of home work and school sucks. It was nice to sit back and not worrie hell I didn't even touch a PC while I was there and it was grand.

I had to throw this in here because I coulden't stop laughing... If you haven't seen Zombie 3 it is the greatest horror movie in the world... However it is not scary just punch in the hurting ribs funny. Go rent it!

Gades ( my PC ) Will finially be complete, i'll be picking up some duel channel memmory tonight for him, everything I wanted him to be he is. But sadly now I have nothing else to tinker with so I believe a new machine is in order.

Ive been dragging ass all this week, I work 8:00-3:00 then I have class from 3:00-8:30. A 40 min drive to school and work, and then home work. I can't wait for the weekend to finially come. I need it badly.

Josh if you read this, I still have your movie and im sure you would rather have something checked out than I Robot.
